This home was previously owned by a prominent DC antiques dealer, Mr. Jack Bachman. Mr. Bachman, owned this house and the one direclty beside it. The neighboring home was for the all his home assistants while this was his primary residence and designed as such.
Every detail was delivered from his worldy travels. The stone flooring in the foyer was imported from Brazil. The heavy medieval doors througout the home were actually from a castle in Scotland. And the light fixtures as well as all the stained glass were Italian imports.
Bachman's idea was to have a home that was perfect for entertaining while keeping it low maintenance for his busy professional lifestyle. This home has been updated to a stunning modern elegance with the character and integrity of the original features.
